I've been told that parts of the "Friends" set were put in the Smithsonian Museum--is it really and how can I find pictures online? Thanks!!

Ross was a paleontologist, and he did work at the Natural History Museum of New York. If they were going to do location shots on Friends, I'm certain they would do them in New York.
According to locations at IMDB, they never shot in DC.

There were only a few episodes where they showed Ross at the museum. Once was when he and Rachel had sex in the exhibit case, another when was when Joey got a job at the museum.
