How can I find gay friends in England?

I'm in Thailand at the moment and I've been living here for a long time, maybe too long. I'll have to leave soon and go back home to Birmingham.





I partly want to go back, but partly don't. The thing that worries me most, apart from the British winter, is not having any gay friends. I've lost touch with almost everyone I used to know. They moved away, I lost all my phone numbers and email addresses in a serious flood, or we simply stopped corresponding.





Can anyone suggest some good places to go (on the internet) to find gay friends in England?

Reply:I just did a quick search and found the below link which seems to me to be worth a try for gay pen friends from around the world so you could write letters with someone before you go back. When I put in Gay Birmingham, there were several links, apparently there is a big community there. If you have some special interests, such as playing a sport, try contacting a gay organization related to your hobby, that will help you connect to people you will have something in common with.

Dont fret!!!! I live in Brighton england which is the gay capital of england and of course EUROPE.. It is the number 1 destination in the entire united kingdom and also ontop of that whats even better is me and my boyfriend drive regularly to Leicester which is about 30 mins to 1 hours drive from Birmingham and when ya return over here if ya want to meet up and all that it be cool to do so...
