How do you find nice friends?

I'm a guy in high school. I have many friends or "friends" I guess but all of them but maybe one seem to be assholes. Cocky, racist, inconsiderate, shallow, no morals, no common decency or respect. I love having fun and doing crazy stuff but there's a line that everyone just crosses into just being really mean. How can I find nice, or just tolerant people?





I'm totally straight, just being reasonable here. Almost every guy just seems to be a dick. How can I find nicer people?

How do you find nice friends?
try joining a club or something like that, or maybe a sport, i know people who do sports have a rep to be assholes but sometimes if your are on like the team it might be different.. or try like youth group or something like that.. i hope that helped haha

They are really nice, I'll tell you.


They can even influence you to do good.


They can be your guide to righteous living..

Reply:right in ur school or outside when u go out, all u need to do is be a nice person urself and in no time u see people will like u.
Reply:You could try looking at diffrent schools or maybe just hang out with a diffrent crowd because you are obviously not clicking with the one you are with now.

Reply:Well , your friends probably are decent. they are probably acting like jerks because they think that's how they are "supposed" to act. if they don't act tough they are probably afraid of being called a "pu$$y" or some other super great word. its that locker room potty mouth young men throw around that becomes a form of male bonding of sorts and it gets out of hand. I'm willing to bet, that if you stood up to them in a gentle "cool" non-treating way, when they say a word you don't like, or say something that is racist, thy probable aren't racist, but lets say they say an ugly word, or phrase, you could just say hey man, it makes me feel like


sh!t whe ya'll say that, I have a neighbor/friend/teacher who i really respect and I hate when you guys do that, I know your just screwing off, so lets not do it any more. If they can't stop doing it, then you do need to distance yourself from them, try meeting some new friends in different places. Sport clubs, Debate team, a volunteer organization, a gym, (the Y?) a class you like might have some guys you like in it that you never noticed before, drafting, art, shop. Look around you and you'll see there are a whole lot of people around you doing different things....
Reply:People often associate others with the company they keep. So, if most everyone you currently hang out with is an asshole, it might prevent nice people from wanting to be friends with you, because they might figure you're one too because of the people you hang out with. You may have to disassociate yourself from the friends you have now in order to have new friends be open to meeting you. Or, just observe who you think is nice and try to associate with them instead.

Reply:see u judge ur frnz by their status n face but the bst way to find a frnd is to see the persons nature may tht guy or girl be really rich or gud looking but for sure they will prove to be ur bst pals





so try making frnz by judging them by their nature try out it works
Reply:Why don't you join a club that has your interests, that way you can meet people that share the same interest as you. Most of them would be nice, and tolerant as well.
