Is it Gay When I say: I want to find friends who are My ETHNICITY?

becuz i have none who r the same ethnicity as me





ever since i moved into this predominantly white - suburban town ( 9 YRS. AGO) (i never had a 'filipino friend', ----i got no problem with making friends who arent the same ethnicity as me, and i do have friends , but they are all not my ethnicity, its no problem, but i feel having a 'filipino friend' who could relate, and teach me more about my culture would be different, and most likely we could crack jokes about our ethnicity since which we would both get cuz we in the same boat y'kno?





i feel culture-deprived in a way, cuz i got no friends of my ethnicity, i think we could relate more culturally speaking... And since I REALLY WANT to know more about filipino culture





k i'm filipino, but how can i find filipino friends in a mostly ''white-folk'' town.. i wish i could go to a predominatly filipino school, so that i think in some way i could be around more my 'culture'

I understand your frustration.. but. what does gay havae to do with it...no it's not gay.. you just want someone to communicate with...
Reply:To answer your question...it kinda makes you racist or prejudice..not gay. Which I'm assuming is a good thing...because you can get over that..but umm.. I'm white and I live in a city w/predominately filipinos, mexican and portugeuse ppl..like seriously there are very very few white ppl. So its like the opposite of what you've got there. I just go w/it..enjoy learning about someone else's culture. But i can see where ur comin from tho..
Reply:NO I DONT THINK WANTING TO MEET PEOPLE OF YOUR SAME ETHNICITY IS STUPID. BECUASE SOMETYMES U NEED TO SPEAK WITH PPL THE SAME AS U. LIKE ME IM BORICUA AND EVEN THOUGH I LOVE HAVING FRIENDS FROM ALL ETHNCITIES. ITS SOMETIMES NICE TALKIN TO PPL WIT THE SAME CULTURE AS MINE.
