Ok when I was 15 my sister %26amp; I went to Africa to study for a year %26amp; 1 mth. While we were there I made friends with one American girl my age and her older sister who was 2 yrs older than me. My sister (2 yrs younger than me) was also friends with them. Anyway we got into fights (with the locals), we got sick and several times were close to the brink of death but through it all even when we weren't getting along our friends would still fight by our sides and several times (their mother was a nurse) they would nurse us back to health. This may be hard to believe but it's true. So when we got back I thought we would keep in touch but my parents banned us from contacting them. These girls meant more to me than I would knew at the time and it's been years but I still miss them very much. The girl who was my age was the best friend I ever had. What I want to know is is there anyone who knows how I could find them? I found out they are back in America now and I miss them so much. Pls help!
I love and miss the best friends I ever had. How do I find them?
contact the study program co-ordinator and see if they have any way of tracing them. if not, is there an organisation in america like the red cross who could help you locate them?
Reply:you could try out some websites designed to help you locate people (I don't have the websites, but go to www.google.com then type "find a person" or something like that. That should find you a website).
It may be more effective to talk to people. Start with the person that told you they are back in America. Ask them for ANYTHING they know. Ask who told them, then check with that person. Get phone numbers and addresses of all the people that person tells you that might know. Write these down, and follow up on them.
Call them, explain your situation and ask if they've heard ANYTHING about these girls. I hope this helps.
