Friends are hard to find on Y! answers. And to make things worse, socializing is against the rules. Why would Y! answers make contacts possible, but make friends against the rules?
Why are friends so hard to find on Y! answers?
Well they probably made socializing against the rules because yahoo has many other programs for that. They wanted to make yahoo answers, just for the people with question and answers.
But ill be your friend :)
Reply:it is not that hard but you should be lucky to find those who want to make friends
Reply:Making friends is not against the rules - this is why there are networking functions via your Y/A profile. However, "chatting" via questions and answers is against the rules. Also, Yahoo has plenty of services that allow you to make friends easier though.
First, Yahoo 360: See my post on that service here - http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;...
Yahoo! Messenger: Go to http://messenger.yahoo.com and download the program to chat without too much censorship
Yahoo! Groups: Go to http://groups.yahoo.com
Yahoo! Mail: Go to http://mail.yahoo.com . Right now, you only have your Yahoo mail link displayed in your Y/A profile.
All these services (with the exception of Yahoo! Groups), is connected to Y/A. It's not seemless, but if you want to make friends, build up your Y/A network and then connect to these people via other services.
For more information about your network, see http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/answers... . You can click on anyone's avatar in Y/A to get to their Y/A profile. They can choose to display an e-mail, IM, or 360 link.
You can utilize this to introduce yourself and get to know people. I recommend Yahoo! 360 for really connecting with people (just remember to put enough content on YOUR 360 space first), as the service was created for social networking.
Reply:You sound like a lonely guy! Well, I don't get it either!
Peace Out man!
Reply:cuz it's not myspace dude. i'm not sure what you're here for but i'm here to talk and debate sports. if you want to socialize get an account on myspace if you don't already have one.
i'm sorry for snapping, i don't even know why i'm on this section of the website. you're still gonna give me the 10 points right?
