Friends where do you find them & how do you know they are really a friend when they say they are?

what is a true friend may i ask %26amp; how do you know when you find one


i'v been burned so many times by people who would say they are my friend then to have them shut the door in your face when you need them the most


just as family has


it's ok if i do for them but when i ask them to do for me it's a nono


so are there any friends out there any more i never grow up with friends for my mom moved around to much so i never know what a friend was till i had my husband %26amp; he died 8 yrs ago i'm Deaf i lip read alot i don't know singing also i'm 58 yrs old

I think a True friend is:





Someone spends time on the phone with you through times when theres nothing to say because your hurting,





Someone that even though may not bump all their plans during the day for you, but someone that makes time for you no matter how busy they are,





Someone that tells you the reality of something when you need it most,





Someone that believes in you even though they may not support your goal sometimes.





Someone that you can call up a month later of not talking to them and burst out laughing on the phone,





Someone that sings dorky songs or snicker and old inside jokes you guys had.





A friend is something we all treasure deeply, but true friends and forever and are very hard to find.
