Reply:Maybe you are trying too hard. Find something you are interested in doing, no matter what. Then take classes or get involved in a group setting this will force you to work on your social skills. If you can sharpen those will you be able to make more friends outside of these settings as well. I know this can be discouraging, but you have to try. Is it possible to check my myspace history and find old friends I've chatted with?
To be a little more specific, about a year ago I found an old friend of mine on myspace and then Tom started doing all that "fixing profiles" crap and now I lost some of my friends. I can't find my old friend anymore. He's not on my friend list, when I tried to Search his name I couldn't find him, and I even did an advanced browsing and tried to look for old notes we've sent each other etc.. etc.. Trust me, I've tried EVERYTHING!! Is there like, a hack or code or SOMETHING that will let me view all the notes I've EVER sent or all the people who have EVER been my myspace friend?? I know it sounds farfetched, but I'm REALLY desperate to find him again because I haven't seen him in a longgg time...

I have moved to Redcar to be with my new bloke who i am havving a baby with and we are getting married. Things are fab but all my family and friends live 50 miles away. I have no one here that i can pop to for a chat, pop out shopping, cinema with which i am finding really hard.

I have a friend and he has awesome layouts weekly and he won't tel me where he gets them. Its like an oath he made with his friends....he vowed not to tell anyone. ok something happend the other day and my hubby is guilty of this too, i was mad, but i started to get over it. well i thought two can play that came kinda thing.he used to go on myspace and hundreds of personel sites. it really got under my skin. so then suposedly he stopped, but then in his email he was talking to some girl through his phone i guess its called mocospace, and i let it go. so then i started to look online and find other men to talk to as friends, and thats what he told me the first time when he was talkin to those girls. to him he started hiding things from me, like his cellphone and he wouldnt let me use it to call my parents or something. so then i just started talking to people. so today he comes in my room and says "i saw who you were talking to on blackplanet", and i was like "so, you did it too" we are kinda young so dont say anything stupid. i said " they are friends". then he was like stay off that site,u dont want me to start? do you?" what does he mean?

Reply:You know, in the wrong hands, the internet can really ruin a marriage. What the two of you are doing is really crossing the boundaries. These people shouldn't be calling him nor should you be receiving calls from these people. It is a form of cheating in my opinion.
Reply:I have met many people online, male and female, but nothing sexual or anywhere near what could be considered cheating. My wife and I have been married over 12 years. Most of the people I know online are other guys, and sports is basically what brings us together. The same can be said of the women in our groups. No hanky panky, and my wife knows all about them. In fact, she likes reading our message boards, because she gets a good laugh out of half the stuff we talk about. There's nothing wrong if your intentions are innocent, and you are completely honest about what's going on.

After offering a sincere apology, express to him how much it bothers you that he's online making friends with other women. Let him know that it makes you feel unloved. Then sit down with him to set up guidelines for the future. My personal opinion is that you both should,as much as is possible, eliminate isolated contact with persons of the opposite sex now that you are married. It only creates an environment for temptation (and is clearly causing conflict in your marriage). But set up boundaries that are appropriate for you. I would also recommend marriage counseling of some sort. I suspect there are some root issues at hand that haven't been disclosed in this question that need to be dealt with. Clearly you love you're husband and it hurts you to see him interact with other women in a way that could potentially compromise his love for you. I'm sure he feels the same way about you and your interaction with men. Strive to love one another!

Most colleges have activities at the beginning of the academic year that will help you get to know others and create opportunities for new friends. There are also lots of clubs and associations that you could participate in. You have a chance to make new friends even when you attend a class. It is difficult, but then all change is difficult. You can do it. Just don't hide out in your room!!
What you are feeling is normal. It is like stage fright! You will do fine! You can start with the new room mates or people on your floor of the dorm and work from there.
I can guarantee it. One week of college and you will have formed some new friendships. But solid friendships take time , so just be patient. Interestingly enough, both my daughters went away to University like you are doing. Their friends are still in touch. I did not. I stayed home. And I rarely ever see or talk to the friends that I had in high school or college. So maybe there is an opportunity that will give you more meaningful relationships for your whole life. It is time to grow and change!

If you even pause, then please be careful.. it's a sign that things aren't entirely right with your marriage.
It's so hard to be married in today's world and I commend all that are making a go of it. I failed in this department after nearly 11 yrs. I tried, but I also realize that I am only 1/2 of a team and I cannot 'fix' the marriage on my own. I made mistakes, and I hope to NEVER make them again, but as sure as I am human, I am sure that I have more lessons to learn and 'repeat lessons' that I didn't get the first time, and for you dear, I wish you all the best with this.

a person can be smart but a group of people are dumb. having said that i wouldn't worry about what anyone else thinks. it's not them that you know wether or not you can turn to when the chips are down. not every gay or bi guy is out there trying to get inot every other guys pants. i've been told by several people that they would never guess that i'm gay. but i have straight friends that have been mistaken for being gay and not because they were with me either. most people who have issues with someone that is gay or bi are just trying to take the attention away from themselves and their insecurities.

All I remember is that it was about a squirrel and two other friends that lived in a forest. The squirrel lived high in the tree, one of his friends lived lower in the tree and the other friend (a rabbit, I think) lived at the bottom of the tree. They were best friends and one of them was kidnapped by a fox. The other two worked together until they freed their friend from the fox's knapsack. I believe the main story was about friendship, working together and overcoming adversity. I can't remember the name of it, and I can't find anything similar anywhere. well first of all you gotta remember that things are never as bad as they same, this doesnt mean that you have no problems it just means that you'll always have people there for you its a fact....one thing to do may just to forget about it, try and just act normal, sometimes the only way to forget about something is to be distracted so you cant think about trying to act normal, try just staying very active social for a long time, dont think about how things used to be but think about how you would like things to be and then do it you know, if you know youre not mean and crazy then you arent...you know yourslef better than anyone, if there are thoughts of yours that youre worried about then you can always see someone for help, there are free clinics everywhere but i hope you get better!!!

I became A person that I disliked..My attitude was bad, getting into fights, depressed.. And I had the bad habit of keeping all my emotions inside.. Finally just one day I let everything out..I cried and I called a best friend that I had lost.. IF they are truely your friends they will always give you a second chance.. TAlk to them, cry, tell them you want them to listen and help you out with whatever your going through. If that doen;t help talk to a family member that you think will understand...hope everything turns around for you..tc :)

Why is it that every time I find someone I want to be friends with, they tell me I need to find some friends?
When I try to make friends with people , men or women, they don't seem to have any real interest in me. I don't think I am any more boring than anyone else and the people that I try to make friends with are not that exciting either, just regular people. I have a so called boyfriend whom I got involved with to have someone to do things with, we do have sex, but I didn't get with him for that reason, afterall women don't have to try to hard to find someone just for sex. my brother is 28 years old. he used to lead a normal life until he was detected as suffering from mitochondrial cytopathy which eventually curtailed his ability to walk, and also caused some other difficulties in regular functions. he is shy but friendly and regular ayurvedic treatment with physiotherapy has brought some positive changes in his attitude and personality. we tried many times to get an employment for him but even the bank for which he worked is unwilling to cooperate and provide a suitable employment to him. except for my parents with whom he lives he has few friends. the kind physiotherapist has kindled a hope of recovery in him. but i wanted to know if i can find individuals with a charitable disposition who will make friends with him and help to speed up his recovery-- that is to provide him moral support.

You didn't mention whether he has good functioning in hands/arms. If so, maybe he could take some classes? If he is creative, he might try art or even some writing or literature class. Or computer classes, etc.
Your brother could also contact social services in your area, to see what activities there might be for handicapped people in your immediate area... He might get involved with the local school for handicapped children in some way? Again, you didn't say how he gets around (wheelchair?) or how his other limbs function.
I sure hope your brother can find something to do and an interest.
I am disabled, but not nearly to the extent of your brother, and i will eventually recover..... meanwhile, i have unleashed my creative abilities and list my artwork on Ebay. I am also a member of an Ebay art discussion group. It's much fun and gives me a feeling of accomplishment, and socialization.

I keep pretty much everything inside. I normally solve my own problems or just put them behind me. I currently have no idea what to do about my current situation.
Most of my close friends have either dropped out of high school or have lives that revolve around drugs. I am the one kid that has moved on to college and thinking about the future. When I am with my friends I feel like I am wasting my life and I need to surround myself with new people. The problem is these kids have been my life long friends. The simple solution would be to find new friends... but Ive grown up with these kids. Any suggestions? Ever had similar feelings?How did/would you handle it?

gone from 118 to 114. is there anyway to find out which friends have erased themselves from your list if you cant remember who was on there? is there anyway to discover which myspace friends erased themselves?
because by looking at the friendslist, i cant tell...i can just see the number gone down from 118 to 114.........

My name is Aziz. I’m from Kuwait I volunteer in the Army as a translator for almost 4 month in the begging of the war, I worked in hospital helping doctors and patient to communicate translating from English to Arabic and vice versa. Most my volunteer work was with MB. I have meet really good friends that I love to keep contact with, sadly I have lost my address book when I came back to Kuwait. Since then I tried to find any of them but no success, I only know there fist name

Should I find other friends?
One of my best friends has called me about 3 times in the last week or so and says he'll call back but never has. Why does he do this? He is so irresponsible. And I can't stand when he swears at me, even if it is jokingly. I told him to quit swearing at me and I stopped talking to him for about a month. I love him so much and we normally tell each other everything but we've been fighting lately, so should I just find a new friend?

would u find it weird to be friends with your ex and have a new boyfriend. i met a new guy a month ago. he's very handsome he seems like a sweet guy he asked if i had a boyfriend. we're still getting to know each other. i'd feel weird if my boyfriend was friends with one of his girlfriends. i'd also be a little jealous.my ex bf is not friends with any of his girlfriends we still talk once in a while. i don't know how to tell him about this new guy. i really like this new guy. i was thinking maybe it's time to experience other people. i'm finding it hard to tell my ex about the new guy. at other times he asked if i met any guys yet. shall i tell him?

just be honest with your ex if he asks and tell him you met someone else. if he wants to be your friend and things arent weird between you two, then thats great. i am friends still with almost all of my ex bf's and can get along with them. as long as he understands that its over and that you both need to move on but can still be friends, thats all that matters. go for it with the new guy if you really like him. your ex's opinion shouldnt matter that much if he cant accept things.

If that is the case , then you need to get involved in your hobbies and go to stores and classes where you would meet people into the same things as you are into. If you like surfing then surf, and talk to others who like to surf. If you are into art, then go to the local art museum or art shows and talk to the artists . Also ,check the papers for listings of clubs and groups that meet that are interested in the same hobbies you are. It's a great way to have something in common and to talk about, right off the bat, and you will become instant friends. You can find new friends anywhere, just do good deeds, say hello to people who walk by. Go to free concerts in your area, or fairs ,outdoor events, where you have the opportunity to meet people of all types. Strike up small talk whenever you get the chance. And don't limit the age of your friends, I have friends of all ages , from 10 to 80. And ,by the way, Happy Birthday!!!

Why Is It So Hard To find Friends Online And Locally?
Why is it so hard to find friends online and locally? I have tried finding friends at church and social events but no one wants to be my friend. This hurts and saddens me:(

To tell you the truth, I would never suggest trying to find permanent friends online. Although there are many exceptions to the rule, you never know what you are going to get on the other end. There are people that have somehow stumbled across and IMED me online that I would never in a million years talk to again ..and honestly wish I had never met. There are lots of weirdos out there, and they seem to get even weirder online. I've seen everything from people begging for money to hypocritical Christians that thought they were in love with people they never knew. Anyways, my suggestion would be to get more involved in things face to face in your community. Try taking up new hobbies or going to a few college classes. Just get out there and keep trying. Maybe take some classes on friendship and dating(they do exist) and then perhaps you will find someone that lives closeby and that has a lot in common with you. Rely on the internet as a last resort, but then again that is just my opinion.

One time when I did find a friend of mine named Bobby he beat the living daylight out of me. And all my other frineds tackled me and punched me and laughed at me. Then, they said they weren't laughing at me, they were laughin with me, but I just wasn't l;aughing. They also told me it was cool to wear power Rangers costumes to school every day and not to shower at all cuse thats what everyone does. Then they laugh at me some more. When I go to school with the power rangers costume they all gang up on me and beat me up and call me nerd, but they're my bestest friends. Can anyone think of a life that is better than mine?
