How can I find American friends?

I'm a 25 years old German guy who lives near Stuttgart, Germany. I want to find American friends because I'm very interested into the American culture and people? What's the best way to find a real friendship to an American? I have something to say: I'm hard of hearing and maybe anyone knows how can I find some deaf or hard of hearing American friends?

How can I find American friends?
You can become a pen pal with someone in America. Write letters back and forth about the different things you do in each culture. I'm not sure how to find specifically hard of hearing Americans, but if you wanted an American to talk to, I'm one!
Reply:LOL. I'm Mexican-American. What do you mean American? There's South American and North American, are you referring to the United States? I'm half and half. What a great mixed culture to learn from, don't you think? I'm actually deaf. lol. I am supposed to be wearing hearing aids, but I fail to do so because I'd rather not hear what the person behind me is saying...
