Re: reasons to find friends dog new home?

My other post about this got good replies, but I need more.

My friends isn't very responsible and got a pitbull lab mix. Her dad doesn't like it and won't let it stay there when she is at her dad's.I agreed to take care of it sometimes for now because I know I can give it better care then when she leaves it at a friends house. I need really good reasons to give her about finding it a new home. THe puppy is 8 weeks old and very adorable so I think it should be pretty easy to find a good family.

There is no way I can keep it because my dad said I would have to pay for it and beable totake it to my mom's and she won't even let my dog ( stays at my dad's) come over.

Please help?

Re: reasons to find friends dog new home?
It is nice of you to want to help your friend with the puppy. But, she was not very responsible in getting it in the 1st place, if she is not allowed to keep it at home. This kind of dog needs lots of attention and training. Be honest with your friend; she is not even close to being able to take care of a dog, and you cannot afford it.
Reply:Tell her it's not fair for her to own a dog when she can't have it at her dad's. Try to think of stuff about her particular situation that makes it a bad idea for her to have a dog. You could tell her about shots, spaying and neutering, and all the other costs of dog ownership. It might be hard, because you'll have to basically tell your friend that she's irresponsible.
Reply:explain 2 her that her dad might put ina adoption center and if the dog does not get a home with in a certain amount of time it will be put down.so put flyers up that a 8 MONTH OLD PITBULL/LAB NEEDS A HOME BY... then give a spacific date.if u need anyhting else, i am: joanas_lover@yahoo.com
