I cant find male friends?

I'm 20 and I'm having real trouble finding good male buddies to hang out with. I work in a pretty big place but im my department the guys are kinda "nerd" types and dont seem interested in hanging out much apart from work.





My college friends seem to have given me the cold shoulder and I cant find anyone from high school so i'm kinda lost. I flat with an asian dude but his friends pretty much keep to themselves. I didnt know it would be so difficult!





Is there anything I should be doing to be the type of guy ppl would want to hang out with?? I work out, only sport i play is cricket, i love beer, im renting a cool house, maybe i could have parties there, but who would come?....





Anyway I'm just lost so I'm posting this and ANY suggestions from anyone whos been through similar would be appreciated!

Reply:Try new things, new sports? Ask to join in on something. If you have friends that are girls they might get something going for buds.
Reply:Why do you have to worry about hanging out with guys? It will happen. You are in college and that is sometimes where life changes dramatically. You must be a very unique and special person. I bet the girls like being around you. I used to hang out with guys more than girls. Girls talk so much about guys and what they did with their boyfriend. But I was different and guys liked to just hang around with me cause I was fun and open and kept secrets. Don't worry about anything. Usually when you worry something wonderful is just around the corner.

Reply:WELL.....GO TO A BAR OR A CLUB OR SOMETHING......THEN HAVE A CONVERSATION WITH SOMEONE......I'M A GURL.....BUT WE DO THE SAME THING IN "GIRLY" ENVIRONMETS....JUST GO SOME PLACE WHERE LIKE A SPORTS BAR OR IF U HAVE FAMILY ABOUT UR AGE....GO OUT WITH THEM AND MEET NEW PEOPLE....HOPE I HELPED....

Reply:Johnnie boy chill out! dude, the last thing you need at twenty is to be desperate for male friends! The first loser to tell you lets hang out will be your biggest nightmare. Don't chase friendship, it will come unless you have other problems. Relax, don't open yourself up to idiots because there are to many out there. I have been threw this crap years ago, I moved around allot, I KNOW, TRUST ME,,, relax, if you aren't some kind of freak you will be fine.
