How do you make completly new friends if you don't have any current friends to do things with and go places with-to find new friends. See I had tons of friends before, because one friend would lead to another. It is kinda hard because I'm always with just myself. How would I look if I kept going places by myself. U know, it's much easier to have someone with you to chat with-to find someone else to talk to. I'm sure there's people out there that know what I'm going through and might have some advice.
Well, if I don't have any friends right now, how do you find new ones w/o a friend to socialize with.?
I'm in the same boat! I've tried a lot of the obvious things, but making friends is not that easy. Especially once you reach a certain age. When you figure it out, let me know!
Reply:I REALLY wish I knew the answer to this question! Borrow a dog or some kids to take to the park and strike up a conversation with a stranger related to the kids/dog? I honestly have no idea. I've had conversations with strangers many times - I'm very approachable - but they have not led to friendship. It has been this way for 6 years or so now. All my friends live far away.
Reply:Go out. Do something you like. There are thousands of social activities out there. Maybe you make friends, maybe you don't. But you have nothing to lose. And at least you'll enjoy yourself doing something nice for you.
Reply:Don't have any friends? Do you have a family? There is where you should look first. Your family should be your best friend. Go to church and shake a few hands if you want to meet new people. A friendly hand shake is a good start. But always understand, Jesus is and always will be your friend.
