So if you are looking to find new friends - not romantic - how would you go about it?

I've tried bars and malls. I used to be in college and all my friends were there. But when we all graduated we all went our seperate ways. We still chat and everything but I want to find some nice people to hang out with. I'd even settle for an online chat with someone new. Message me if you are interested in chatting by the way.





I was thinking a book club or local theatre group but I'm not sure. Any suggestions.





Yes, this is a dumb question and I seem to be socially inept but I'm starved for some friends that don't live four states away.

Many different ways, but here's some tips - try these:





1) Ask friends of friends of friends. Go through your network of friends first.





2) Interest groups - church, book clubs, alumni associations for your college.





3) Have your friends come out for a weekend and go out to social events, clubs, bars - maybe meet some new girlfriends that way.
