Why is it so hard to find new friends?

Pretty much since i was born i grew up going to church with my parents every sunday but the truth is I never felt had God in my life %26amp; whenever i was in trouble or in need i prayed to God I never got a response as I was in a pentecostal denomination church this personal relationship people had meant you'd have people saying "oh God told me to do this, i heard his voice telling me that i can feel his prescence etc etc I guess i grew to question his existance when things in life went from disaster to disaster eventually it lead me to just give it all up all together i just felt like i've been wasting my time trying to get connected to God when ever i tried as hard as i could i never got a response since I left the church scene altogether the so called friends I made a church have all disowned me never to contact again so now at 20yrs old i'm starting over again just would like to get some tips on where to find new friends out of church %26amp; former schoolfriends are all but uncontactable.

Why is it so hard to find new friends?
finding new friends is a difficult task but show if you everyone what you are then everyone would find you interesting.in my opinion if you want to make friends be what you are behave as you behave usually then everyone would like to come closer to you . and never ever overshow to everyone.i suffered from the same situation earlier but i managed to get rid out of it. may be there is some prblem with your behaviour try to change that or you may not have good people around you who dont understand you.and still if no one likes to be your friend make god your friend discuss all happiness and sorrows with him.and if not so i am ready to be your friend we can chat online.

i can't really relate to the believing-in-God-too-much thing, but i guess it's not too late to find true friends. just remember that when meeting new people, be yourself. be natural, because honesty can go a long way. but do choose your friends wisely, because some might be bad influences and may affect your life negatively. nevertheless, don't be afraid of making new friends.
