Do you find it hard being friends with people who aren't as attractive as you?

This is not a joke, it's a serious question.





I am a woman who is considered attractive although I'm not a model or anything. I have a friend that is not very attractive but she has a great personality. Sometimes I find that she seems to want to hang out with other unattractive people instead of me. I don't care because I've got other friends. I never make a big deal about looks when I'm with her. I just wondered if this could all be in my mind. What do you think?

I think that people in general are friends with - and date - other people with similar looks, intelligence and income.





If your friend senses that you think you're more attractive than her, she'd have to be uncomfortable with that. Maybe you should just relax and be yourself, and enjoy your friends for who they are.

and no I dont. It never enters my mind who is more attractive cause beauty comes from within

Reply:well i'm 34 this year and people tell me i still look 19 with my lovely long dark hair and blue eyes...and i'm a bloke to boot!! oh well we've all got our cross to bear!! lol

Reply:Dats so funny cuz im in da same situation as you, cuz my friends arnt dat attractive either...they dnt lk 2 dress up much(basically they r tom-boys) and i am just the opposite. But somehow it dnt bother me at all...?? I think that your friend is just trying to get attention by hangin out with people less attractive than herself:)
Reply:She probably still likes you and everything, she just finds you to be competition when you guys go out together. I mean, if you were at a restaurant and you saw a really hot guy standing next to an ugly guy, who would you stare at all day? Nothing personal, she just wants to feel attractive without having anyone steal the spotlight. %26lt;3
Reply:to make friends with any intivitual recardless of age, race culture attraction or not attraction dose not at all change anything in your live,infact you may be holding thire key to succes,go on hang up with them you never no how much you are a blessing to them.

Reply:I do not find it a problem. My problem is when Im with people who dress bad or are dressed dirty. Thats bothers me.
Reply:Maybe she hangs with the "unattractive" people because they're easy to get along with and not full of themselves.
