Do you ever find yourself judging men or women who only seem to have male friends (or only female friends)?

I was talking to a friend of mine about this earlier.. do you ever find yourself judging men or women who only seem to have male friends (or who only seem to have female friends) ?

Do you ever think to yourself "i wonder what that says about them?"

I was discussing this with a friend because she had read somewhere that some men/women will notice that the person they are dating only has male or female friends and wonder why

one's choice of friends is not an indication of anything - like gender identification or preference - so it's not fair to pre-judge. personally, it doesn't even matter anyway. however, our circle of friends is a good gauge of our character.
Reply:Yes, I would tend to wonder about a person's sociability level in this case.

A well-rounded individual will tend to have a social circle which includes both genders and also diverse backgrounds and social status.

If a person tends to associate with only one type of individual, I would certainly question his sociability state.

I'm not thinking of a dysfunctional state. I would be more concerned about the level and maturity of his social skill set.
